DMDP Board member, Robyn Devenish, has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM)

DMDP Board member, Robyn Devenish, has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in recognition of all her service to Cambodia focusing on strengthening clinical laboratories and laboratory professionals.  Robyn has worked in Cambodia for close to two decades, including working as a laboratory specialist for the US CDC Global AIDS program, as a volunteer at the Angkor Hospital for Children and the National Pediatric Hospital, and most recently as a full time volunteer mentoring laboratory professionals at Sonja Kill Memorial Hospital in Kampot.   Her two decades of work with Cambodia has led to recognition and respect of her dedication to the laboratory profession by many Cambodian, Australian and US colleagues. 

Robyn was awarded the OAM by the Governor of Western Australia at an Investiture Ceremony at the Governor’s House Ballroom on the Queen’s birthday

Teaching Hematology at the National Pediatric Hospital. (2007-2010
