Angelo Caon will return to Cambodia on May 1, 2014 to provide mentoring to Cambodian microbiology staff. Angelo is a Hospital Laboratory Scientist from Australia who originally came to Cambodia as a VIDA volunteer.

Angelo Caon is a hospital laboratory scientist who has over 20 years of experience working in laboratories in three different states in Australia.  The majority of his experience has been in microbiology, much of that in a laboratory operated by the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Sciences (IMVS) serving the Lyell McEwin Hospital outside Adelaide, where he has been the microbiology lab manager.  Angelo has also worked in regional microbiology laboratories in Victoria, South Australia and the Medvet laboratory at Alice Springs that performs microbiological screens for remote aboriginal communities.

Janet Maleski is an Expert Microbiologist now training laboratory staff and DMDP trainees in the Siem Reap Provincial Hospital microbiology laboratory. This is Janet's second tour in Cambodia.

Janet Maleski is an Expert Microbiologist now training laboratory staff and DMDP trainees in the Siem Reap Provincial Hospital microbiology laboratory. This is Janet's second tour in Cambodia. In 2013, Janet trained staff from the Takeo and Kampot Provincial Hospitals. She has also had experience training microbiologists at the National Public Health Laboratory in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia under the auspices of the American Society for Microbiology.
